On Friday, February 4, 2011, the nation’s largest JW Marriott hotel opened its doors in Indianapolis, bringing to completion the three-year, $450-million Marriott Place development project occupying seven acres along the west side of downtown Indianapolis.
And so, this month marks our one-year anniversary. We’ve had a very successful first year and we have you – all of our customers and guests – to thank for it. We couldn’t have done it without you!
As we take a look back at our exciting first year, we hope that you had the chance to visit Indianapolis and experience the excitement of our great city. With events like the NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball Championship last March, the 100th Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 in May and Moto GP in August, there was plenty of things to do all year. And, of course, it was all capped off on Sunday, February 5th, 2012 when Indianapolis became the world’s stage and hosted Super Bowl XLVI!
If you haven’t yet experienced Indianapolis nor had a chance to stay at the JW Marriott, now is the time to make your reservations! Like 2011, there will be many exciting events happening this year that you won’t want to miss.
